Questions About Maintenance and Repair

Touch-up kits are available to help hide surface damage on cabinetry. Contact the design center where they can facilitate the purchase of the color-matched touch-up kit for your specific cabinetry.

To clean your cabinets, you should use a cotton cloth with warm water or for a more thorough cleaning, mix water with a mild soap. Be sure to use another cloth to dry the surface right away.

Things to avoid:

  • You should avoid using a cloth or sponge that you have washed dishes with as there may be food or grease left behind that could get on your cabinets.
  • Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners that have ammonia or bleach, such as the sink or tub cleaners.
  • Avoid any silicone-based waxing or polishing products.

Your cabinets are made with a quality finish, but you should still handle with care when it comes to cleaning. A little soap and water will go a long way.

Our return policy is dependent on the type of product ordered from the site. No returns will be accepted on trims, moldings, fillers, panels, or discontinued styles. Each product type is outlined below:

RTA Cabinets – RTA cabinets may be returned within 14 days of receipt. You will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee and the shipping cost to send back to the manufacturer. The item must be in its original packaging and in good condition.

To process a claim, email (need and email address) your confirmation number, the reason why the item is being returned, and specific SKU(s) of the item(s) being returned. We can then provide a Return Authorization number and shipping details. For you to receive credit, you must obtain a Return Authorization number from us before shipping out the return.

Once we have received the returned item, it will be inspected for damages. We ask that you allow seven days of receipt for the manufacturer to check the returned item(s). Should everything be intact, we will issue the credit to your account, minus the 25% restocking fee. Original shipping costs will not be credited back to the account or refunded in any way.

Assembled Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinets – Assembled Kitchen and & Bathroom cabinets cannot be returned for any reason due to our manufacturer’s policies. It is vital to check all measurements before ordering to confirm you are ordering the accurate pieces. If an assembled item is damaged before arrival, it will be replaced for the same item only.

Simply Kitchens warrants to the original consumer purchaser that Simply Kitchens cabinetry, door hinges, and drawer glides will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the lifetime of the product (Proof of Purchase is required). This warranty is not transferable and only applicable to product used for residential purposes. Representatives of Simply Kitchens do not have the authority to change or enlarge this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage or defects caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or lack of necessary maintenance; nor does it cover alteration, modification, improper installation, improper handling / storage, environmental conditions, nor any labor expenses.

Simply Kitchens, at our option, may elect to repair or replace with a functionally equivalent product any Simply Kitchens product covered by this warranty. Some replacement parts are subject to availability and may differ from original parts received. Return of defective product may be required for a replacement to be issued. Repair parts or replacement parts are at the expense of Simply Kitchens, but customer shall bear all other expenses. These expenses may include, but are not limited to, cost of removal and re-installation of product, labor expenses, etc.

Just as no two trees are alike, no two pieces of wood are alike. The variation in color and grain pattern in wood adds to its natural beauty and is not considered an imperfection. Environmental factors, including but not limited to artificial / natural light, moisture, cleaners, smoke, etc., may cause the darkening or mellowing of a cabinet over time. This is a natural process and can be expected. This warranty does not cover the natural aging or darkening / mellowing of wood color, the inherent growth characteristics of, or variation in wood.

Some of the cabinet lines feature a glazed finish which accentuates the door and drawer front profiles. This glaze is hand applied over a stain or paint and may, due to the nature of application, consist of random drips, runs, etc. As glazing is a hand applied process there will be variations in color and appearance from door to door and cabinet to cabinet. This is not considered a defect and is considered normal with hand applied finishes. It is the nature of wood to expand and contract to varying degrees depending on climate conditions. As a result, cabinet lines with painted surfaces may show fractures in the paint at joints. This is normal and is not considered a defect.

This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and Canada and is not transferable. All implied warranties are limited in duration to the shorter of the period provided by law or the period of this warranty. To the extent permitted by law, this warranty excludes special, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state. To exercise this warranty, please  report, in writing, to info@simplykitchensusa.com all defects claimed and include proof of purchase documentation.

Here at Simply Kitchens we are so confident that you are getting the best quality products at the best possible price that we GUARANTEE it with our Price Promise* If you find a lower price within 30 days of your quote or purchase with the same construction, warranty, finish and availability, we will beat it by 10%. Just bring us the official, printed line-item quote and we’ll beat it, or, if you’ve already purchased from us, we’ll refund the difference.

 *The 30-day Price Promise is for products priced prior to assembly, installation or delivery and cannot be combined with some financing options. Construction is defined as full overlay cabinetry with ½” or greater plywood sides, dovetailed drawer boxes and soft close, full extension hardware. Finish is defined as a similar color within the respective categories of paint or stain. Availability is defined as within no more than four weeks of the quoted Simply Kitchens delivery date. Submitted quotes must be valid, issued within the past 30 days and contain a line-item listing of all of the products that you wish to have beaten. Excludes wholesalers, clearance and closeout competitive offers. 

Questions About Design and Installation

For your design appointment you should bring measurements of your kitchen, any visuals or ideas you would like to be considered in the design. You can download our measure guide to assist you in capturing all the necessary data. Prior to your cabinet purchase we will perform a measure to confirm all dimensions and jobsite conditions.
In many of our assembled cabinet lines, we can make some custom modifications to existing stock cabinets. These modifications include increased cabinet depth, decreased cabinet depth, and single wall oven cabinet to double wall oven cabinet conversions. Yes, you will receive email updates regarding your order status at the following stages:

  • Processed- This status confirms that your order and payment have been received and verified.
  • Shipped- This status notifies you that your order has shipped.
  • Received – This status notifies you that the installation team is ready to schedule your installation.
Estimating cabinet installation costs is easier when you know which factors to consider. Number of Cabinets, removal and disposal of old cabinets, the size of the kitchen, trim and molding and geographical location all have an impact on the installation costs. The Design Center will be able to provide a more accurate installation estimate with your specific quote.
